It looks every bit as good now as it did then but has been given some player friendly upgrades along the way. First released to the world in 1960, the Hummingbird was Gibson's first square-shouldered guitar. Having arrived at the dawn of a new era in music, the Hummingbird was quickly adopted by trend setters and prime movers on the scene.

Built with Thermally Aged sitka spruce, the 1960 Hummingbird is a clear reflection of the appearance and performance of the early icons.
